Bujinkan Ninjutsu

Comprised of 9 different schools of fighting arts each with their own histories and specializations. This style has the greatest depth of skills, techniques and martial principles our dojo offers. Because of such a vast array of styles to learn within the system students are able to specialize and find what works for them, instead of always forcing the student to conform to the style Bujinkan Ninjutsu allows the student to work within the style and find what best works for them and then build their martial skill from there.

Balintawak cuentada eskrima

A martial arts system from the Philippines that does not focus on lavish or fancy techniques and instead emphasize simplicity, speed, power and practicality. Classes focus on every student becoming a competent attacker and defender, with the art having a heavy emphasis on learning defensive skills to the highest level and making every student become an effective teacher in the art. we offer this as a study group under coach Peter Mitchell of Stick Fighting Toronto.

fit-to-fight

The goal of this class is fitness and you will also train important fighting skills in a dynamic and very active class that uses the most effective methods and exercises to build a body fit and ready for any fight. if you want to build your fitness, flexibility and basic MMA/self defense skills including stand up and ground fighting this is the class for you.

Why does oni dojo specialize in small group/private training?

we have decided on this teaching structure in order to provide the best possible training to each student with the one-on-one attention that only private instruction can give.

we provide these private lessons exactly like in a class structure with Base membership at 2 hours a week of training in a monthly membership of $79.99/month for youth and $119.99/month for adults.

We do provide additional membership options that allow for specialization into our Ninjutsu, Balintawak or modern self defense CURRICULUM’s and additional options to add more hours of training into each week or month. please contact us to ask any questions you may have.

It all started when…

I was visiting a small dojo half an hour away from my hometown, my first class had me hooked immediately and i quickly joined every available program they had. I worked part-time everyday after school and full-time every summer to afford paying for my own martial arts training.

I’ve trained with many very high level martial artists across a large number of styles, grand masters and pioneers in the Canadian martial arts community and teachers over the border in the US, across the sea to Japan, and further abroad then even the Czech Republic.

as the head instructor of Oni Dojo I offer my accumulated years of training, experience and education that only a deep passion and commitment to martial arts and teaching can provide.
